Local processing

In Local processing mode, supported media files are processed in your browser. Local video, image, and audio processing does not upload the selected file to the server for rendering. Some technical usage events may still be sent if analytics are enabled, but the media file itself stays local in Local mode.

Online processing

In Online processing mode, uploaded videos are sent to the server for rendering. Uploaded videos are temporarily stored to process the requested render. Rendered outputs are temporarily stored so you can preview or download them. We do not store uploaded videos permanently.

Uploaded videos and rendered outputs are automatically deleted after a limited time. Current limits are: 150 MB maximum file size, 120 seconds maximum duration, 2560x1440 landscape or 1440x2560 portrait maximum resolution with no 4K/UHD uploads, 60 FPS maximum, 30 minute session idle TTL, 2 hour session absolute TTL, and 30 minute rendered output availability. Cleanup runs periodically.

Analytics and event logs

The service collects limited technical and usage analytics to operate, debug, protect, and improve the service. Examples include error codes, upload rejection reasons, render status, processing time, selected mode such as local or online, media type such as video, image, or audio, feature usage events, and coarse technical file metadata when applicable, such as size, duration, resolution, and FPS.

Analytics should not include original filenames, uploaded file contents, actual video, image, or audio content, full local filesystem paths, or unnecessary personal data. Analytics events are stored in JSONL event logs. Aggregate counters may be stored in Redis daily counters. Logs are retained only for a limited time and size, according to configuration.

IP addresses and abuse prevention

IP addresses or hashed identifiers may be used for rate limiting, spam prevention, security, debugging, and service reliability. The client_owner_id value is used only for session cleanup and session ownership convenience. It is not a user account and does not identify a registered user.

Cookies and browser storage

The app may use localStorage or sessionStorage for UI preferences, page session IDs, owner IDs, mode state, and local app behavior. These are used to make the app work and to avoid duplicate analytics events. There is no login or account system currently.

Third-party infrastructure

Hosting, CDN, DNS, security, and infrastructure providers may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the service.

Sensitive content

Do not upload sensitive or private videos to Online processing if you are not comfortable with temporary server-side processing. Use Local processing when possible for maximum privacy.
